Where to buy or shopping a Fishing License? Do I need a trout stamp?
Many convenience stores and gas stations sell fishing licenses here in Grand Traverse County. It is your responsibility to have a license for the day of fishing (no separate trout stamp is required these days). NOTE: It is possible to buy a fishing license on the day of the charter online, however, we recommend you get this done prior to getting on the boat in case of network outages or other technical problems connecting to the DNR’s licensing site. Don’t leave this to the last minute!
